CHEESECAKE SQUARES 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
1 jar peach or apricot preserves (need about 1/2 c.)
Confectioners sugar for icing

Put 1 package or crescent rolls in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Whip cream cheese, vanilla, sugar and egg yolk together.

Spread over the layer of rolls in pan. Then unroll the other package of rolls and put over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

When cool - spread a jelly glaze of preserves over the top (takes about 1/2 cup).

Drizzle soft icing over the top of that. Cut in squares. Refrigerate.

Can be baked the day before and refrigerated.
