LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE 
1 lb. cooked linguine
3 to 5 cloves minced garlic (the jar of ready to use works great and saves time)
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
3 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/2 to 3/4 c. reserved clam broth
1/2 c. chopped parsley (optional)
1 tsp. each of basil, oregano, pepper

Combine oil and garlic and heat slightly (just until you can smell the garlic). Add drained clams and saute 1 minute. Add broth and wine and spices. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add cooked linguine and toss.

Linguine can be cooked earlier in the day if you life. This recipe also can be prepared in advance and reheated either on the stove top or in the microwave.

Total time approximately 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
