CHICKEN CORDON BLEU
8 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 lb. boiled ham, thinly sliced
1/2 lb. Cooper sharp cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 c. bread crumbs
Toothpicks

Spread chicken breasts, if necessary, flatten them out more by pounding them with the smooth side of a meat tenderizer. Place a piece of ham on the chicken, trimming the portions that over hang the chicken. Then repeat that process with the cheese. Then roll the chicken with the ham and cheese inside. Be sure to pull up any sides and make sure there are no gaps. Hold the chicken together with the toothpicks. Then dip the chicken into the egg, coating it completely. Afterwards, roll the chicken in the bread crumbs, again coating it completely. Repeat this process with all of the chicken breasts. Then bake the chicken at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
