6 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 1 c. cocoa
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. lite cream or milk
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Heat all on medium heat except vanilla. Reduce heat and stir constantly until thickened (about 5 minutes). Then add vanilla and mix thoroughly. Pour over ice cream, brownies, etc.
