BACON-CHEESE FINGERS 
1 c. shredded cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked very crisp and crumbled
1 tbsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp. celery seed
3-4 tbsp. mayonnaise
6-8 slices bread, crusts removed

Combine the cheese, bacon bits, onion and celery seed with the mayonnaise. Mix until well blended. Mixture should be of a consistency that will spread onto the bread easily. If too dry, add more mayonnaise. Spread cheese mixture on the bread slices. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minute or until browned. Cool slightly and cut into 4 squares per slice of bread.

NOTE: After cooled and cut, these may be wrapped in foil, refrigerated and reheated before serving. Yield: 24-32 fingers.

Variation: Add 1/2 cup pecans and 1/2 teaspoon garlic to cheese mixture.
