NUT KISSES 
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 egg whites (beaten)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Chop nuts fine. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in sugar, a little at a time. Fold in vanilla, salt and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased letter paper. Bake in slow oven 275 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes. Yield 2 dozen. If dried out well will keep for a long time if stored in a tight can.
