VENISON STEW 
2 lbs. venison stew meat
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
3 qts. water
1 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
4 med. potatoes
1 healthy squirt catsup
16 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
Salt and pepper to taste

Coat meat in flour. Brown in large saucepan in which shortening has been melted. Add water, chopped onion and celery. Boil and simmer 3 or 4 hours. When meat is tender add potatoes, catsup and frozen vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste.
