EASY CHILI 
1 to 2 tbsp. chopped Jalapeno pepper
2 to 3 tbsp. chili powder
1 lg. clove garlic, minced (optional)
Salt and pepper
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans or chili beans
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and cut up
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. chopped green pepper

Cook and stir ground beef, onion and green pepper in large saucepan; drain. Add remaining ingredients except beans. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours; stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and continue cooking until beans are thoroughly heated.

Makes 6 servings.
