INDIAN FRY BREAD 
6 c. flour
2 pkgs. yeast
3/ 4c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. warm water

Mix dry ingredients together, add yeast to warm water, mix, add to dry ingredients. Knead.

Put in bowl, cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Divide and roll into 5" flat round tortilla shape. Deep fry until golden brown. Top with your favorite toppings.
