OSGOOD PIE | |
1 c. sugar 2 eggs, unbeaten 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. pecans 1/4 c. butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar Mix all ingredients together. Place mixture in uncooked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. May be served plain or with whipped cream or ice cream. NO-ROLL PIE CRUST: 1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. cooking or salad oil 2 tbsp. milk For single 8 or 9 inch crust. Sift flour, sugar and salt into pie pan. Combine oil and milk and whip with a fork. Pour all at once into center of flour mixture. Mix with fork. Press evenly with fingers to line bottom and sides of pan. Bake in hot 425 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes or fill as desired and bake as required. |
