WHIPPED CREAM POUND CAKE AND
FROSTING
 
1/2 pt. whipping cream
3 1/2 c. cake flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon (if desired)
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter

FROSTING:

8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add flour and cream alternately. Bake in oven at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Frosting: Mix cream cheese with 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 teaspoons vanilla.
