RAW APPLE CAKE 
4 c. grated apples
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour

Mix apples, sugar and soda together (let stand 30 minutes). Beat oil and eggs together and add to apple mixture. Sift together flour, cinnamon and salt and soda. Add to above mixture with vanilla. Mix well. Pour batter in 9 x 13 inch pan.

GLAZE FOR APPLE CAKE:

2 tbsp. sweet cream
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. light or dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed

Bring to rolling boil. Cool, spread on cake while warm.
