COUNTRY CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. green beans
1 lb. fresh carrots
1 sm. head cauliflower
1/2 c. cooked chick peas
Salt and pepper
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated (2 c.)
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. milk

Prepare vegetables and cook separately in boiling water until barely cooked.

Arrange vegetables and chick peas in large buttered casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and grated cheese. Dot with butter and add milk. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes until bubbly. Serves 8.
