PEACH KUCHEN | |
2 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 3 c. sliced peaches 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 egg yolks 1 c. sour cream Sift flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt together. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Transfer to lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and press crumbs firmly against bottom and sides. Arrange peach slices over bottom. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Beat egg yolks and blend in sour cream. Spoon evenly over partially baked kuchen and bake 20 minutes more. Serve warm or thoroughly chilled. |
