SPICED TOMATO JAM 
2 1/4 lbs. tomatoes
1 box Sure-Jell
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. each of cloves, allspice, and cinnamon

Scald tomatoes, remove skins and chop. Simmer 10 minutes, measure 3 cups. Mix Sure-Jell with 3 cups of prepared fruit in saucepan. Add lemon juice and spices. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly, boil 1 minute. Add sugar, bring back to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute more. Pour into jars and seal. Makes about 2 pints.
