RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter and shortening
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs and 2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

1 box raisins
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. brown sugar

Cook filling well. Let cool. Mix sugar, flour, salt and nutmeg. Roll in butter, beat eggs and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Roll thin. Cut with small cookie cutter. Put 1 teaspoon of filling on and cover with another cookie. Bake at 350 degrees. Great!
