FAMOUS RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
4 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk

Mix flour, brown sugar and butter well. Add eggs one at a time, put baking powder, soda, salt in flour. Add vanilla and milk. Mix like pie dough. Roll out on floured table, cut with a glass or cup. Bake on slightly greased cookie sheet.

FILLING:

1 box raisins
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. nuts

Boil raisins and sugar with water to cover. Make flour mixture to thicken the raisins. When cooled, add nuts. Add about 2 tablespoons raisin mixture in each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
