LAYERED CREAM CHEESE &
STRAWBERRIES
 
2 1/2 c. buttery crackers (e.g. Hi Ho), crushed
1 c. butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. sugar
3 c. strawberries, halved
2 pkgs. (4 serving size) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 c. milk
1 c. Cool Whip

Combine crushed crackers and melted butter; press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Chill. Beat until smooth the cream cheese, milk and sugar. Spread evenly over the chilled crumbs. Prepare the pudding mix with 3 cups milk; fold in Cool Whip. Arrange strawberries over the cream cheese layer, then spoon pudding mixture on top of strawberries. Chill until set, about 2 hours. Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and additional strawberries. Serves 15 to 18.
