CHOW CHOW 
1 lg. cabbage cored and chopped in medium pieces
6 green tomatoes chopped medium
1 lg. onion chopped
2 c. water
1/2 c. cidar vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. pickling spice

In a medium size pot add all ingredients. Let boil, reduce heat to simmer with lid off for 30 minutes. Can while still hot, makes 4 medium size jars.
