ZWIEBELSCHNITZEL 
1 (2 to 2 1/2 lb.) London broil
5 med. onion
Garlic
Mrs. Dash
Pepper
Paprika
1 1/2 c. broth or consomme
1 c. water

You can start with frozen meat if in a hurry. Brown meat on both sides in a covered fry pan. Do not use any oil and trim all visible fat. Reduce heat to simmer. Season the meat. Add onions, sliced wafer thin. Let simmer for an hour covered. It will make its own juice.

Add 1 1/2 cups consomme. Taste and adjust seasonings. If your family likes a lot of sauce, add a cup of water. Simmer another hour or until meat pulls apart easily. Serve with noodles tossed in sour cream, or plain rice or mashed potatoes. Make sure you have a garden vegetable with this! Serves 4 to 6.
