SCOTCH COOKIES 
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. fat (butter)
1 c. rolled wheat

Put egg, sugar and fat in a bowl and beat well. Add rolled wheat and mix well. Drop dough by spoonfuls on well-greased baking pan. Leave room for cookies to spread. Bake at 350 degrees (moderate oven) 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Makes about 18 cookies.
