RAVANI 
3/4 lb. (3 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1 c. flour
10 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. regular Farina
4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. syrup

SYRUP:

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 inch piece lemon rind
2 inch piece orange rind

Brush a 10 x 15 x 2 1/2 inch baking pan with some butter and flour. Set aside. Beat eggs until fluffy and light. Add sugar, remaining butter, lemon rind, and vanilla. Combine remaining flour, Farina, and baking powder; add to mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden. Let cool 5 minutes. Pour syrup over cake and let stand 3 hours or overnight. Serves: 12.

Syrup: In small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to slow boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved. Add lemon juice, lemon and orange rinds; cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Let cool.
