PINEAPPLE CAKE SQUARE 
#2 can crushed pineapple
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 heaping tbsp. cornstarch or tapioca
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
10 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 lb. butter
4 egg yolks & cream or milk to make 3/4 c.

Cook until thickened the pineapple, sugar, and cornstarch or tapioca; cool. Work butter and flour like you would for a pie. Add yolk with milk and work dough. Roll 1/2 for bottom crust. Add filling. Roll remaining dough for top crust. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
