2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. sweet cream or Carnation
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour

Cream together eggs, sugar and butter. Add sweet cream or Carnation, lemon extract and vanilla. In large bowl sift remaining ingredients and add all together. Chill for 2 hours, then roll out and cut into large round pieces. Decorated or plain, bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not over bake.
