CAREN LAYTON RICK & CHRIS' HAM & PINEAPPLE PIZZA | |
2 1/2 c. flour 1 pkg. rapid rise yeast 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. very warm water 120 to 130 F. 1 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. honey 2 cans cubed pineapple (Dole) 1 to 1 1/2 c. cubed baked ham 1 to 1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese 1 (4 oz.) jar of pizza sauce For dough mix in a large bowl 2 cups of flour, yeast and salt. In a measuring cup, mix water, oil and honey. Stir into flour mixture until soft dough forms. Knead 10 to 15 minutes. Should be soft, wash, dry, slightly oil mixing bowl. Put dough in bowl. Turn oil side up. Cover with clean cloth, rise in warm place, until size doubles, about 30 to 45 minutes. Shape the dough, put the sauce on, spread cheese to your liking, add ham as desired and then layer it with the pineapple. Put in oven that has been preheated to 425 degrees and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Check bottom until it is golden brown and then enjoy. |
