MEATLESS CHILI 
1 lb. dry pinto beans soaked overnight (if dry & 3 c. water) (2 cans)
2 cans kidney beans
1 lg. onion, sliced or chopped
1 green pepper, cut in chunks
1 red pepper, cut in chunks
1 can diced tomatoes
2 c. sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. garlic powder or clove of fresh
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chile powder
1 c. V-8 or tomato juice

Cook all together until thick.
