1 c. butter 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 2 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. finely chopped pecans 1 pkg. (9 oz.) chocolate kisses Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter, softened to room temperature. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Beat together until light and fluffy at medium speed. Beat in flour and nuts at low speed until well mixed. Shape small portions of dough around each kiss. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove, cool and roll in powdered sugar. Makes 40 to 45 cookies. |
