BUSY DAY STEW 
2 lbs. beef stewing cubes
8 carrots, peeled & chunked
4 potatoes, peeled & chunked
1 c. celery, sliced
3 med. onions, peeled & chunked
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. minute tapioca

Mix together tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar and tapioca. Place all ingredients in large Dutch oven or pan. Pour tomato mixture over meat and vegetables. Do not brown meat first. Cover pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours.
