BURGER CHILI QUICHE 
1 unbaked pie shell (regular or deep shell)
3/4 lb. ground chuck
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 can (4 oz.) green chilies, drained
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
3 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Cook ground chuck and onion until tender; drain fat. Sprinkle this into pie shell. Top with green chilies and cheese and mushrooms. Combine egg, milk, salt and garlic powder. Mix these ingredients thoroughly. Pour over pastry shell. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 35 minutes or until set. (Picante sauce spooned on each slice if desired.)
