TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 1/2 c. evaporated milk or Milnot 3/4 stick butter, melted 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels 1/3 c. milnot 1 c. pecans, chopped 1 c. chocolate chips Mix cake mix, 1/2 cup Milnot and butter. Put 1/2 mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6-7 minutes in 350 degree oven. Melt caramels and 1/3 cup Milnot over low heat and spread on cake. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips on top of caramel mixture. Use remaining cake mixture to make little balls and flatten out. Put on cake and bake for 10 minutes. Let stand 24 hours. Cut in squares. |
