HAMBURGER CASSEROLE WITH
ZUCCHINI
 
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 med. sized onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes with juice
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Garlic salt to taste
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (16 oz.) cans whole kernel corn & juice
3 med. sized zucchini, sliced

Power: High. Microwave Time: 23 to 25 minutes.

Combine beef and onion in 3 quart casserole. Microwave uncovered at High 4 to 5 minutes. Drain off excess drippings. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce. Microwave at High, covered 4 to 5 minutes. Add garlic salt, salt, pepper, corn and zucchini. Stir well. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at High 15 minutes. Rotate dish 1/2 turn after 8 minutes. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes before serving. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
