THE ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES

Baker's Joy cooking spray
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
1 egg or 1/4 c. scramblers
1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
2 tbsp. milk
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray baking sheet lightly with baking spray. Cream Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Blend until creamy. Blend in egg. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture, gradually. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls (about 2 measuring tablespoons) of dough 3 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies. They will look light and moist. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool on sheet for 2 minutes. Then sink your teeth into the delicious chocolate chip cookies.
