CRESCENT ROLLS
4 to 8 c. flour
1 egg
Yeast
1 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. milk
4 soft sticks butter

Sift 4 cups of flour in a large bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl beat 1 egg, yeast, and 1 cup of sugar until blended. Then add 2 3/4 cups of milk, mix well. Pour and mix with the flour until it resembles a cake mix. Mix in 2 sticks of melted butter. Sift flour over mixture and mix until you can pick up with your hand (about 2 to 4 cups of flour).

Knead with hands until well blended. Let set 2 to 3 hours. Cover with a hot towel. This is best if it can set in a warm place overnight. Then break off enough to pan out like a medium pizza.

Rub a light layer of butter on dough. Use a sharp knife to cut like pizza. Then roll from big end going to the little end. Make sure the little end is completely under the roll. Set on ungreased cookie sheet. Let rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Cook on 400 degrees until golden brown, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
