BOTTOM LAYER:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 unbaked pie shell
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add egg and mix well. Pour in pastry shell.

TOP LAYER:

1 1/4 c. pumpkin
1 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs

Combine all ingredients. Carefully pour over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes.
