SPINACH SALAD 
DRESSING:

1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. white sugar
2 TBSP. white vinegar
1 tbsp. snipped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce

SALAD:

1/4 c. sliced almonds
4 tsp. white sugar
Fresh spinach, washed and chilled
2 tbsp. green onion tops, chopped
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
Sliced strawberries

Combine all salad dressing ingredients; cover; shake well and chill. Heat almonds and sugar in small skillet. Watch closely until almost golden brown. Cool. Toss remainder of salad ingredients. At serving time, add almonds and dressing. Toss lightly. 6-8 servings.
