HOT CHICKEN SANDWICHES 
1 stewing hen, cooked and salted to taste
3 c. rich chicken broth
5 slices broken bread, as for dressing
5 eggs, well beaten
sandwich buns

Cook the stewing hen. Remove from bone, and cut up fine with kitchen shears. Place chicken in pot, and add broth. Bring to a boil. Add bread. Stir until bread dissolves into broth. Turn heat to low, and slowly stir in the well-beaten eggs. Cook until thickened. Serve on hot sandwich buns.
