BUTTERMILK CHICKEN 
5 lbs. cut-up chicken, washed and dried
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp. corn oil
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. curry powder (optional)
Chopped almonds

Mix buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic and corn oil. Marinate chicken in buttermilk mixture for 2 hours. Drain and save liquid. Brown chicken lightly in hot oil. Add onions, saute slowly for 10 minutes. Add curry powder, add almonds and reserved liquid, cover, cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
