SPICY SANDWICH LOAF 
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. frozen bread dough, thawed
1/4 lb. thinly sliced ham
1/4 lb. thinly sliced salami, casing removed
1/4 lb. thinly sliced mozzarella or Provalone cheese
1 1/2 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni

Melt butter in a large skillet. Add mushrooms and green pepper; cook, stirring often, until tender. Set aside. On a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, press dough into a 10 x 13 inch rectangle. Layer ham, salami, cheese and pepperoni down center of dough; top with mushrooms and pepper. Fold sides of dough over filling, lapping the edges. Turn seam side down; pinch edges together and tuck under to seal. Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until double in bulk. Brush with egg glaze, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
