SOUR CREAM BANANA CAKE 
1 lb. brown sugar (2 c. packed)
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
4 or 5 bananas
4 c. sifted cake flour
1 sm. carton sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
Dash salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream brown sugar and butter, add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well. Add mashed bananas and flour and salt along with the sour cream. Add vanilla and nuts last. Make 3 (9") layers or a 9"x13" pan.

FROSTING: Mix 1 stick butter, 4 cups sugar and 1/4 cup sour cream (more if needed). Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until fluffy.
