GOULASH | |
2 1/2 lbs. beef stew or cubed sirloin 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 clove garlic, crushed 2 c. water 1 c. catsup 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. paprika 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. salt Brown meat in oil with onion and garlic. Add water, catsup and seasonings. Cover and cook at low heat for about 2 hours. Mix 1 tablespoon flour with 1/2 cup water and add to mixture, stirring constantly until thick. Serve over noodles. Serves 6. |
