STIR - FRIED STEAK AND
VEGETABLES
 
1/4 lb. sirloin or flank steak
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. pressed garlic
1 tsp. honey
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. sliced onions
1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. sliced celery
1 tbsp. oil
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained

Cut meat in thin strips 2 inches long. Combine soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic. Toss with steak and marinate 30 minutes, stirring once or twice. Prepare vegetables.

Heat oil in skillet. Drain meat, saving marinade. Add meat to skillet and cook quickly over high heat until meat starts to brown. Remove meat from skillet.

Add onions, stir-fry 1 minute. Add mushrooms and celery, stir-fry 2 minutes. Add reserved marinade and heat. Add meat and pineapple and stir just until heated. Serve with rice. Serves 2.
