TUITTIE FRUITTIE CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour milk
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. chopped dates

Cream sugar and butter well. Add soda to milk. Sift cocoa and flour. Add the beaten eggs to sugar and butter mixture. Add vanilla and vinegar. Add milk and flour alternately. Add dates and pecans last. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

FILLING:

1 lg. can pineapple
1 c. sugar

Cook pineapple and sugar until syrupy. Set off and cool. Spread on layers, after you have first iced with whipped cream. Then cover the outside with your favorite chocolate icing.
