HERBED ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAD 
1 1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tbsp. onion flakes or chives
2 1/2 to 3 c. sifted flour

Mix; cover, let rise 1 hour; punch down. Let rest for 10 minutes. Put into a round casserole. Let rise again (approximately 45 minutes).

Bake 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Substitute for 1 tablespoon parsley by using 1 1/2 teaspoon of more flavorful herbs - examples: 1 1/2 teaspoon dill weed or 1 1/2 teaspoons herb de Provence or 1 1/2 teaspoon basil or whatever compliments your meal.
