GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE FROSTING | |
1 cup whipping cream (or evaporated milk) 1 cup sugar 3 egg yolks 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/3 cups coconut flakes 1 cup chopped pecans Add first four ingredients in saucepan and stir. Stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in the remaining ingredients until well mixed. Spread on cooled cake. Submitted by: Sharie per Aunt Laura |
