1 cup whipping cream (or evaporated milk)
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups coconut flakes
1 cup chopped pecans

Add first four ingredients in saucepan and stir. Stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in the remaining ingredients until well mixed.

Spread on cooled cake.
