GRAHAM CRACKER COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk (sweet)
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. coconut (fine)
1 c. graham cracker crumbs (8 whole crackers = 1 c.)

Topping:

1 box confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together sugar, milk and eggs. Melt butter. Add the first mixture to the butter and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add pecans, coconut and graham cracker crumbs. Line a 9 x 13 pan with graham cracker squares. Pour mixture on top of the graham cracker squares and then top with graham cracker squares. (Be sure to use whole cracker squares in this part, not the crumbs.) Spread the mixed topping on top and let chill for 2 hours before cutting into squares.
