HAMBURGER SKILLET STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
Salt and pepper
1/4 can tomato sauce

Combine all ingredients and shape into small balls; brown in oil in skillet. Drain off fat. Add vegetables and remaining tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

VEGETABLES:

1 pkg. green beans (frozen or 1 can)
4 carrots, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 medium potatoes, diced

To save time, place vegetables in a saucepan; add water and boil while mixing and browning meat balls. Combine vegetables, meat balls, and remaining sauce. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until all vegetables are tender. Good served with warm cornbread.
