SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 blocks butter
6 eggs
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar; add butter. Add sour cream and eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add flour and soda. Beat only long enough to get flour mixed in well. Pour in a greased and lined tubed cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
