HALIBUT STEAKS IN TOMATO SAUCE 
4 halibut steaks
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. tomato sauce (8 oz.)
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. chopped celery
1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. leaf oregano, if desired
1/4 tsp. leaf basil, if desired

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash and dry fish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place in greased baking dish. In small mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients; mix well.

Spoon sauce over each piece of fish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork. To serve, garnish with parsley or lemon, if desired. Serves 4.
