PECAN CRUST 
1 1/2 c. ground pecans
1/4 c. butter (at room temperature)
6 tbsp. sugar

Blend pecans with butter and sugar. Spread and pat firmly into a lightly greased 9-inch pie pan.

Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes. Watch closely as it scorches easily.

This is a rich base for any cream pie and freezes well.
