CHOPPED HERRING 
1 (12 oz.) jar herring in wine sauce
1/2 lg. red apple
1/2 lg. onion
2 hard boiled eggs
2 tsp. wine vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
Dash of cinnamon

Drain herring. Chop. Add rest of ingredients and chop. Blend well. Chill. Serve with rye bread or crackers.
